We finally made it home! As some know already and most will start to hear rumors today. Just want to make it clear what happened because we all know how some things get twisted and she did the right thing by asking for help so I dont want that great example to get lost in the rumor mill...It needs to be an example of strength to know its ok to ask for help...The Lebanon Police Department and Mercy Paramedics helped me help a young girl that has been struggling with depression and doing harm to herself...She harmed herself last night then immediately reached out and we were able to help...We drove round trip over night and got her in a hospital that will keep her for seven days and help start putting her back together and in the right direction...Im very proud of her!!!! She was brave and reached out for help and now she has a chance at a beautiful life. A second chance at 14 years old...Depression doesnt care who you are, how much money you have or your age...Please reach out I promise there are people that want to help...If you need help but your afraid to reach out because your afraid your parents will be mad do not let that stop you! The girl tonight was scared she would be in trouble before her dad arrived and come to find out her dad was the total opposite he is doing everything he can to help her as he was already in the process of doing so. He is an amazing dad and its amazing to see how much he loves her and wants to help her...Also with all of this negativity towards the police lately I would like to give a very special thank you to Officer Dinwiddie (hopefully that rank is right, I know the name is) who showed great compassion and warmth and made the situation very comfortable for her. I was very impressed with all of them...Please pray for her as she begins a new chapter and hopefully finds inner peace....Cheers to the first day of the rest of your life young lady....Honored and Blessed...#mUChlOVe....I hope this makes sense because Im physically and mentally exhausted...So forgive me if its a mess....
