We get so accustomed to recognizing and branding ourselves to a label, to a title, to something, just anything. We affiliate ourselves to different groups, cultures, traditions, social constraints, that we lose our very own identity. Its like if I were to say that I believed this, or I believed that, it automatically puts up a kind of barrier, in-which the person keeps thinking, How can I prove them wrong, or maybe I shouldnt affiliate with them. So instead of looking at the good in others, we just take the focus off ourselves and point fingers at each other. I know I do, when I myself am in the wrong, or in deep sin per say. Christian, Catholic, Hindu, Buddhist, Agnostic, Atheist, Conservative, Liberal, etc.. do any of these really even matter? We take a label, we make ourselves, shape ourselves, teach ourselves, to become and own up to that label. What folly. What constraint. Meaningless, at of it is meaningless. Just be yourself, stop trying so hard to be someone else, is all Im saying.
