We got the BEST News yesterday!! It is OFFICIAL.... Richard Garcia got the call!!! We will soon be a Fire Family of Pasadena Fire Dept!! Academy starts in 2 WEEKS!! We wanted to Thank every single person who has supported us in this process from the begining!! To all of our friends/family who have been there (physically) through the ups and downs with us of this very long season, we could not have done it without all the support. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! We love you all!! To everyone who supported us financially to put Richard through the 1st Academy, this would not have been possible without any of you! There are not enough Thank yous or words to express how Thankful we are for your generosity, belief and support!! To those who have lifted us up in prayer for this process and all that we have gone through.....your prayers were felt and SO appreciated, Thank You!! To Brandon Cook and Long Beach Christian Fellowship Church....Thank You for immediately (without knowing us) take us in and welcome us as a new family to your church and offer to help as soon as you saw a need! Thank You to everyone who brought us meals when Richard was in the academy and our lives were so hectic. Thank you for loving on our kids and making it possible for them to go to youth camps this last season. Thank you for your continued prayers and support that all of you as a church have given us throughout this rough season!! God definitely used the acts of love and service that the LBCF Family showed us during this time! To fb friends that have supported us through likes comments and kind encouraging words, Thank You!! There were days we needed them more then you know! Extremely Thankful for all the government assistance programs that helped us survive, feed our kids and provide medical insurance when we didnt have any and provide opportunities for hard working people to get back on their feet by offering schooling and work programs, this major career change would not have been possible without those programs in place!! Even though we are not out of the woods yet, I feel its important to share how Thankful we are and have been for every part of support in this entire process! This has been the toughest 4 years of our life and for the first time we see a light at the end of the tunnel!! I cant express enough How Proud we are of you Richard Garcia!! No one deserves this more then you! I cant wait to be part of the Pasadena Fire Dept family! They are definitely gaining a great family member in you!! Thank You Jesus for giving us strength, Perseverance and opening doors and helping us overcome obstacles that seemed impossible!! Nothing is impossible with you!! SO extatic and truly blessed!! Looking forward to the next chapter in our journey. Please continue to pray for the next 4 months of the academy! :)
