We had a beautiful Christmas Service this morning at First Baptist Church of Turner. Annalee Mae Dorsey read as Mary, then Lucy Rosamond Jones Silk sang Mary, Did You Know? The Praise Team - HeartSong sang Offering as the offering was being taken. The I read as Joseph, then Marie Neal (Mom) and I sang. Theres A New Kid in Town. We had a presentation off gifts for the staff, Pastor Steve Neal, and Alyssa Wilkinson, our office administrator. Then a special presentation to Pershing Mann, we made him Deacon Emeritus, he is 96 years old and has been a part of the church for 60 years. We presented him with a plaque. Clarence E. Hayward (Gene) then read as the Shepherd and then the congregation sang, Infant Holy, Infant Lowly. Steve then brought a short message on Participation. We closed with, Angels We Have Head on High. So glad to have this church family. Beautiful Day!
