We had a nice turnout of birders and birds this morning at Ewing Park. Lots of Ruby-Crowned Kinglets, many of which gave us good looks at their ruby red crowns. Turkey vultures soared overhead. We had Broad-Winged Hawks, a couple of Sharp-Shinned fly-bys, a Carolina Wren, Palm Warbler, Field Sparrow, Chipping Sparrows, Crows, Robins, Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker, a (very loud and industrious) Downy Woodpecker, Hermit Thrushes and more.
