We had our first Special Olympic track meet of the year! Since we havent been able to practice on the track, I had some concerns. I was so proud of how well the kids did! So many first, seconds, and thirds, it made my head spin. Many new athletes did even better than expected. Many of our returning athletes had improved so much. Austin amazed us High Jump! Relay teams were so fast---all of them faster than I sent them in. Thanks to coaches/chaperones: Cherie Winkels Frazier, Benny Caffee, Jimmy Jimmy Wayne Caffee, Alice Caffee, Jon-Marc Caffee, Seth Spangler, Marjory Eaton, Deanna Martin, Sandra Cuba, Dorothy Morgan,--awesome with the kids. We had many parents come out to cheer, support, and lend a hand! Thanks to (Im sure Ill forget some) the Ingrams, Vissage, Peters, Crosses, Proctors, Ramseys, Jacksons, Champs, Helms, and oh my...all the others! You were great!
