We have a very strong Christian presence on our campus and it is due to this one guy, I never can think of his name. Anyway, he is a member of a local Baptist church that basically supports a few of the Christian student organizations. I always notice that guy talking to the kids and counseling them and all and all the kids have great respect for the guy. Every Wednesday, there is a noon day Bible Study on campus that draws hundreds of kids and that churches members come out, feed them pizza and show them a lot of support by providing needs. That church also has Bible study in the both the freshmen and upperclassman housing, provide the kids van rides to Atlanta(we have to mass transportation in our county), have tutors for study groups,....etc. My point is, it is up to the CHURCH to do outreach on the campuses in order to combat the anti Christian attitudes on the liberal campuses and churches have to reach out to the students in a real and consistent way.
