We have been blessed with 48 years of married life. Yes, we had many ups and downs, but so much to be thankful for--3 beautiful, thoughtful and helpful daughters, 3 wonderful son-in-laws (remember they get to help the 3Ms pick out our nursing home-Ha! Ha!), the BEST 8 grandchildren in the world and we are both healthy!! Had a great day, Gary worked,(remember he loves his job & especially harvest time) so I could enjoy lunch with girl friends. We had a nice dinner with lots of laughs--remembering when the minister told us that our marriage would not last and my 5 brother-in-laws knocking on the motel door the night we got married, wanting to come in for a drink!! We ignored them!! Anyway many thanks to everyone who remembered us yesterday with either a text, email, message on FB, phone calls or with a beautiful card. It was a great 48th anniversary--now on to many more! May God bless each one of you!!
