We have been extra cautious since we down-sized our home to a neighborhood with Mookie & Major. Although I have Invisible Fence, weve still been very reluctant to let the dogs off lead. Today being a beautiful spring day we took them outside earlier this evening & let them run & play off lead. Decided to take them just before sunset for another romp. Started out OK but then ended in a dog fight. Major needs to learn that Mookie is the Alpha. Although he is taller than Mookie, she rules. Had to pull them apart at which point Mookie gives kisses but still a challenge. The neighbors must think were crazy people with crazy dogs. A similar experience happened inside the house when Major took away a Nylabone from Mookie - keep in mind we have multiple bones, chew toys, etc. Its like dealing with toddlers. They dont share well.
