We have been having meetings to come up with a proposal to the monks of the 15 Temples in our area to really address the issue of street dogs. We are so happy to have Khun Taan (Maneerat Grueneberger) and her daughter Patty Grueneberger to join us and they were VERY helpful in organizing the meeting, with Patty preparing papers for each monk to fill in how many dogs, male/female, cats, problems. Khun Taan gave the introduction, followed by a slide presentation by Dr Jeerawat Sam . It was very well received by the monks, and we started next day by going to Nam Khem Temple, where they have 38 dogs, cats and kittens, and puppies have been dying. They are so happy to have us :-)
