We have been receiving questions and comments with regards to the traffic light at Broadway and Carroll Street. The Village has taken every step possible to have the traffic light repaired in a timely manner. There was major damage to the control box as a result of a traffic crash. The contractor is awaiting replacement parts. With regards to the questions of the flashing red light and the flashing yellow light. Flashing red light means you must stop before entering the intersection. The flashing red light is facing Broadway. The flashing yellow light means you can proceed with CAUTION through the intersection with out stopping, however you must use CAUTION. Common courtesy and patience will go along way during this time of inconvenience. Thank you for the inquires and as always drive safely.
