We have been working with diaphragmatic BREATHING with clients and have been met with some resistance. I know how to breathe. Well, many people think they know, but the reality is, we are all breathing TOO SHALLOW. Thanks to Brendon Rearick of Movement As Medicine for summing it up nicely, why we need to learn to breath BETTER: 1. Breathing is life. You take 22,000 breaths per day do it right. 2. The more oxygen you can intake the more endurance you have, the longer you can last. 3. All your diaphragm muscles connect to all your core muscles. Good breathing mechanics means stronger core muscles. 4. Your diaphragm also connects to all your organs. Deep breathing detoxes and cleans your organs too keeps them healthy.
