We have had a dog outside Floor and Decor for a few weeks that is obviously abandoned. Kayla Cline came up with a great name, Samba, after the black slate we sell, and Ive taken him home for at least the night. He is incredibly thin and, from the looks of how he reacted to dog food, been living off people food for a long time. He is VERY sweet and would not bite Fredo as he loaded him in the car. Rode in the car well, just laid down, and reacted like any normal dog to a 15 minute trip. Very well-behaved. Samba seems young (but I could be wrong), is unneutered, needs a bath and needs some serious TLC, but he will make a GREAT pet for anyone who will love on him. Hes a BIG dog, but I believe from the markings on his tongue that he is part Chow. Hes such a good boy and sweet as can be. Im offering him free to a good home. If anyone will open up your home for Samba, I will be so grateful! Otherwise, Im going to have to take him to a no-kill shelter. Hes staying in the garage for now as I cant have an unvaccinated baby near my pets for obvious reasons, but these things can easily be fixed. The garage with the fan is cooler than the blistering heat. Id love for anybody out there to take him!
