We have migrated the 2008RTM Server Db to SQL Server 2014 . SQL jobs have many stored-proc in job which running is running fine in 2008 , when it comes to 2014 SQL , Storedprocedures are not even giving ouptut . we waited till 12 hours. no response. We found some hot fix issues in 2014 and patches updated, Memory compatibility set to 120 , googled it and tried out best, RAM PLE is fine, CPU utilization ot crossing 40 %, MAX-DOC set to 8 , and tried with 0 also, Basically i am not a DBA, a developer who is taking care of this also. 2008 Server and 2014 server are same RAM capacity and advanced procssor.. Any other settings or memory architecture needs to be changed?.. Cardinality estimator is different in 2008 and 2014.. Help me on this issue..
