We have ministers that are like an ostrich with their head in the sand. They dont address peoples hurts, fears, depressions, angers, struggles, phobias or sin, but they tell you to just smile and confess things are better. That is like holding a hot coal to your chest and pretending its not there. It is going to take more than a positive confession to pull you up out of that distress you are in. It is going to take the power and the anointing of God. Dont get your mind on where you want to be in life, and visualize your success and other such waste of time. Get your eyes fixed on Jesus, saturate your mind with the word of God and let God fill your heart with the love and joy of Jesus. It isnt my efforts to be positive in the face of adversity that redeems my life, it is my faith in a God that is more than able to deliver, that causes me to rise up and triumph.
