We have returned to MD Anderson cancer center of Houston this week to undergo a few more tests and then start the treatment plan, the treatment plan consists of a mild chemo treatment for 8 weeks , the myeloma cancer has affected my nervous system, the chemo treatment effects the nervous system as well so the doctors want to try a mild chemo treatment so that there are no more neuropathy issues . We are going to do the mild chemo treatment for 4 weeks then test the blood to make sure that it is working if it is working we will continue the mild chemo for an additional 4 weeks totaling 8 week mild chemo treatment, if the testing after the 4 weeks is not helping we will then increase the chemo for an additional 4 weeks of a more aggressive treatment. Thank you all for your support, prayers and contributions through this battle although we certainly need the prayers, contributions and support through these next 8 weeks this next 8 weeks are going to be very intense and very intensely scary for my family and I if we could please come together and contribute as much as we can through these next 8 weeks it will certainly be greatly appreciated. the prayers are very powerful and I thank you for all prayers but please find it in yourself to reach into your pockets and contribute whatever you may be able to we will be closing the account once we have met our goal as you can see our goal has changed due to the powerful prayers that have helped change the diagnosis to a lower chemo treatment therefore we will not need aggressive chemo for 14 weeks so the medical bills have decreased I have made adjustments to our goal due to the changes in my treatment.
