We have some sad news to share today. Sweet Pepper Gin passed away very suddenly this morning in the presence of her adoptive Daddy. If you could please send some well wishes and prayers to Peppers Dad, her foster family, and her previous family, we would appreciate it a lot. Pepper came to us almost exactly a year ago (on 9/13/13). Her previous owners asked us to bring her into the rescue as she had some medical issues that her family couldnt afford at the time. We welcomed Pepper with open arms, knowing that her previous family was doing what was best for Pepper. Pepper spent about 6 months with her foster family, who helped her through her surgery, nursed her back to health and helped her overcome her separation anxiety. Pepper was spoiled in her foster home and definitely knew she was loved while being fostered through BTRET. Then the happiest day ever came for Pepper back on 3/1/2014 --- SHE WAS ADOPTED! Pepper has had just about 7 months with her forever family and it was an immediate bond with her Dad. They were definitely two peas in a pod. We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to everyone who ever knew and loved Miss Pepper Gin... Run free at the Rainbow bridge, sweetie.
