We here at Cabinet Mountain Kennels Love Schipperkes of Color with their Natural tails. Gene questions are like this. If your dog carries a cream Gene but is black or brown and you breed to another one that is a is cream or chocolate factored you should get some of both colors. We have a pair that will be cream and chocolate factored and will also carry for the black. We hope to have puppies that are either Chocolate, black or cream all in one litter but carry for each gene. It takes 2 negatives to make positives. Right now we are expecting 3 litters. One litter that is due any time will be all black pups but should carry for the Cream Gene. The next litter should carry for the tri-genes and last litter will be a suprise litter. We will chromogene these just to see how they turn out. We are trying to increase the Gene pool here because there are so many schipps here in the USA that are being bred for one color (Black) and that is causing close relatives. I will be posting pictures as we have them.
