We just had rounds and the doctors confirmed that Addy will be here until her counts recover. Her ANC is still low but on the rise from yesterday, she is up to a whopping 21!!! She will need to be at 200 before they allow discharge. Unfortunately, there is no way to predict how quickly it will rise (or fall). Addy will get chemo (vincristine) as scheduled tomorrow. Also, as soon as her counts recover she will have a full body ct scan to look for the infection that may have caused her fevers, the doctors believe that the fevers were caused by her medications, it is simply a safety measure to confirm that she can come off the antibiotics. On a side note, these days are pretty long for Addy and she gets pretty lonely. If anyone has some time to come by she would appreciate it! She needs some kid time and a buddy or two to ride around the halls with too!!!
