We keep a trunk filled with afghans and lap throws on each porch here at Lozeau Lodge Inn, so guests can sit out doors in comfort on cool mornings or cool evenings, and this is the latest afghan I have knitted for the Lodge and it is finally finished. It turned out just beautiful. Made in an Indian type pattern in red and black all in stockinette stitches. The pattern is pretty easy, but requires that the color changes be made with yarn on spools to prevent carrying, in the Scandinavian style of knitting.
