We know its probably very uncool for us to brag about one of our own, but we just couldnt resist. On Saturday Jai, son of our founders Paul & Jess Thompson and one of our original Water Babies, won gold in the finals of a national 25m U11 Butterfly event. Jai is in the middle lane: he won by a finger nail - last year he missed out because he looked across on the final stroke, but this year he held his nerve. When we started Water Babies back in Yorkshire in 2002 he was of course one of the first. But he also had one of the worst cases of the wobbles ever - it lasted over a year...look at him now:-)) Well done, Jai! x
