We live in a time where standing up and speaking the truth in full essence are both rare. Where standing up for justice and protecting those either deceived or harmed are both rare. A time where being true to others and yourself in totality are both rare. Not only rare but odd. Odd because of how its considered the norm to mind ones way. To watch if someone drowns or if walking towards a cliff. That only hoping for their safety is sufficient but theres so much more we can do. Theres so much more we can give which would cause us to live. To live by extending a hand in trying to protect a soul even if hands slip with one drowning deep down. At least we know we tried--at least we know we lived in trying to prevent them to drown. We lived in giving a hand instead of living in regret and finding it hard to forgive. To forgive ourselves in not trying our best for if we tried there would have been a chance for the other soul to be saved, rest and also truly live. Truly, Allah subhana wa taala is the controller of affairs but we have to at least try. So that we may please Him instead of letting things pass by. ٍ Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains. (Quran Al-Hijr, verse 45)
