We live in a watered down society where dating means limited face-to-face communication, feelings are a 160 character limit, and emotions are better off hidden. We dont know what we want because weve forgotten past values, like what it meant to establish personal friendships instead of basic interactions. Our desires are what we can get out of a couple nights rather than a lifetime. Its becoming less and less normal to be committed. Not just to people, but to our hopes and aspirations. We want the now, not the later. In order for a society to regain lost values, we must be willing to change the culture around us. That starts with the decision to mimic the change you want to see. Make people wonder why youre so different; get people thinking again.
