We want to thank everyone for all of their prayers this week. Daddy began having stroke-like symptoms on Tuesday evening and he was taken to the emergency room at Wake Med. Throughout the week, the specialists have tested and scanned for many things, and they have determined that high blood pressure caused a significant amount of swelling on his brain. The condition is reversible and with time and rest, they expect him to make a full recovery. We have felt so much love and support from so many, and we are grateful beyond expression. We will probably be here in the hospital until the middle of next week, and then he will recover at home for a while. He is already communicating much better and is joking around with us and making the nurses laugh... The good news in all of this is that the doctors have confirmed that Benny does, in fact, have a brain after all. 😜 Please continue to think of us and keep us in your prayers as he is recovering... we can feel the love!
