We married on my Papas (and my brothers) birthday. This is the 9th birthday weve celebrated without Papa (from Skipping Stones). I hope youll pick up a copy and read about that amazing man in that book. I cant think of any better way to honor his memory than for it to live on forever in words. And Im sure that he was even better in real life than he was in fiction. That doesnt happen often. *** Chad Polatty, I had no idea the first time I talked to you how much Id love you...and how fast that would happen. Its funny because you surely annoyed the heck out of me by constantly calling me Brandi, not sure why, but it sticks out. Within two weeks, youd claimed my heart, and its been yours ever since. You are everything I imagined, yet so much more. Weve had our ups and downs, but each one only proves that we are strong, love conquers all, and that we can get through anything. There is no one on this earth that Id rather be walking this journey with than you.
