We meet a lot of people at The Roxbury and you never know who is going to pop up from your past. The kid who says gimme some! in the opening of the iconic Baby Ruth/Swimming Pool scene from Caddyshack (see clip below) is now obviously a grown man and he and his wife celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with us last night at The Roxbury. Turns out we know a lot of the same people from our theater days. Anyway, he was one of the caddies in the film and also had the famous pitchfork scene with Bill Murray. Only a handful of films have ever made me truly laugh till I cry and this was one of them. Feels like only yesterday I was going to see it at the drive-in in Duncan, OK.
