We need to plant organic Flowers for Hummingbirds ! Consult with a Bird Protection Society on which flowers are best ! Sugar-Water is not the food Nature intended for these magnificent Birds ! Natural Pesticide free Flower Nectar is their food to thrive on ! It has all the minerals and trace elements that these Birds need to stay healthy and reproduce ! Studies have shown that Sugar - Water alone causes reproductive Problems ! Also another thing to consider : Most Sugar is made from GMO Sugar- Beets. What impact this has we dont know yet ! Another thing : these Feeding- Vessels have to be kept super clean . Sterilized every day , made out of Glass. If left in the heat of the sun , fungus can quickly grow in the Solution . This sickens the Birds ...it may even kill them ! For the Love of Hummingbirds get away from these feeders. Instead plant Flowers for them ! : Monarda Didi Ma . [Bee- Balm ] Comfrey , Himalayan Impatients , Scarlet Runner Beans, Honeysuckle! Fuchsias [ Organic grown ] Red , Purple, Pink , Orange , Blue, are the colors that attracts them most . Any Flower with a deep tubular entry way attracts them ! Plant a variety that blooms all Summer !
