We need your help in preserving Century Domes in San Jose; the Century 21 (a Cinerama dome!), 22 and 23, and keep them from being developed over with a shopping center; an urban village! Someone call Martin Scorsese, George Lucas or Steven Spielberg! The urban villages meeting from today is archived at sanjoseca.gov/index.aspx?NID=191 ... no definite plans. Discussion on the EIR, fasttracking a study, etc, yet nothing concrete. It is indeed very bothersome that Federal Realty signed a lease with the San Jose; without having anything finalized. Part of this delay I feel though does have to do with the public. We MUST keep up -- and ramp up -- the pressure; we cannot EVER back down.
