We never thought south india (-kerala) was so beautiful specially Uttara Karnataka (Land of Scenic Beauty), simply smitten by unraveling scenic surprises. Feeling jealous Uttara Kannada friends :) This past week, we visited Tirupati – Kanipakam – Vellore Golden Temple – Shravanabelagola – Halibeedu – Beluru – Dharmasthala – Udipi – Murudeshwar – Gokarna - Goa (no beaches :), our flight was from goa - hyd) along with our parents. Rahul climbed the seven hills on barefoot. Its about 9 kms with around 3400 steps. Murudeshwara temple is an architectural marvel of breathtaking with a rajagopuram that is the largest in the world and a Lord Shiva statue that is second largest in the world. Please put this on your must watch list.
