We recently mentioned the amazing 34 Windsor Street in Burbage and the incredible work Head Chef Sam Owen and his team are doing with vegan food of the highest quality. As most of our followers know, were passionate about premium vegan food and if you havent been to 34 Windsor Street, you really dont know what youre missing! There is nowhere in Leicestershire providing vegan food of such a high standard, and certainly not for such sensational value - only £35 for a seven course vegan tasting menu. There cant be anywhere in the Midlands offering anything of this level for that money. Its remarkable, the quality of the fresh ingredients - most coming from the kitchens own garden - is oustanding and the care taken with the presentation is fine dining on a par with Michelin Star restaurants. The flavour sensations are stunning, the textures incredible and the lightness of touch with presentation a treat to behold. Were so lucky in Leicestershire to have an establishment like this, theyre leading the way at the top end of quality and deserve so much support. So few places cater for vegans properly - 34 Windsor Street has embraced it (as well as other dietary requirements) with open arms and the team there deserve so much recognition for that.
