We sometimes witness complete stupidity. last night after my flight was delayed 2 hrs we finally boarded. The couple 2 rows in front were upset because a piece of the armrest and seat were torn causing him to snag his pants. we then had to wait 35 mins at the gate for the maintenence guy to come fix it. how did he fix it? With duct tape. I was upset and confronted the staff. I said please dont tell me we are waiting this long for duct tape for a fix that is not life threatening. They said we are. The rest of the passengers than rallied behind me and we made it known that this was ridiculous. Ah the joys of flying.
