We started digging our potatoes the other day. We dig them out with a potato plow and then, pick them up by hand. Its quite a labor intensive job. So...in true Yeehaw Farm competitive fashion, our family always has to make a game out of everything. Complete with bragging rights for the biggest potato found in our digging efforts. We keep score and everything. Its actually quite silly and juvenile but it sure helps boost moral when bragging rights are involved. The first round goes to Da Boo Man for his monster Kennebec potato. Weighing in at a little over a pound, Boo owns the title of Mr. Potato Head for the week. I just cant contain myself with the pride I feel for Boo. As a parent, I cant ask for anything more for my children other being christened as Mr. Potato Head. But...I have news for Boo. He is going down in the next round. I want to be known as Mrs. Potato Head.
