We still cant believe this page is only eight members shy of 2,500. (If the spammers wouldve gotten through, it would be. Can you believe someone would attempt to spam a cancer patients prayer page? Good thing their mommas and Jesus loveem.) It is so incredible that so many people have followed our little boy and our family. We know that many more have prayed for him. Connors cancer was discovered and cured within four months. That, my friends, is miraculous, a miracle due to Gods grace and your prayers. Barry Perkinss son Levi and family friend Carrie Anger are running the St. Jude Marathon for Team Connor. I ask that you please support them. If you cant run (Lord knows I cant and aint), any donation you can give them would be terrific. All the money goes to St. Jude so St. Jude can continue to be Gods hands to other little boys and girls and their families. In five months, and still, Shannon and I have lived and died a hundred times. I cannot imagine the pain that other families have to endure, families who have to battle cancer for years. Then, those families have to deal with horrible, life-altering side effects or worse. Whatever you can give, a dollar to one-hundred dollars, to create a smile is truly priceless. A friend of ours who works for St. Jude told us that the largest percentage of donations do not come from rich celebrities or even the marathon; instead, they come from those jars you see at convenience stores. She told us an exact percentage, and I wish I could remember it, but thats just hard to grasp. Whatever you can donate, to Team Connor or a jar at the Shell, it helps. As a matter of fact, it cures. Still, to donate in Connors name would be a great tribute to this genuinely strong boy. Shannon Smith Morris
