We think we are alone, but we are not alone. We have our spiritual - TopicsExpress

We think we are alone, but we are not alone. We have our spiritual teachers. We have God. We have our collective energies, our community. All these help us, and without them, it is very easy to fall, because without them all we have is our own ego to guide us. Then, when we become judgmental and separate, we are prone to fall. We see this in the Star Wars epic, in which Anakin Skywalker turned to the dark side. Instead of being liberated, he became a person with certain powers and charisma. When we speak about judges, shof ’tim, we are speaking about our internal judge, our tzaddik, our community, and God. They are whom we have to stay in communion with on all the levels, and then we will be supported on the subtle and sticky path of spiritual liberation.
