A Great Outpour Daughters of the KING! “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out MY SPIRIT upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out MY SPIRIT.” Joel 2:28-29 (KJV) The promise of the outpouring of GODS SPIRIT was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost and we are still experiencing this promise today. In that time of the Early Church, people by the thousands received the Baptism of the HOLY GHOST with the Bible evidence of speaking with other tongues and we saw a great move of GOD demonstrated through preaching, teaching, thousands receiving salvation, and thousands of healings and miracles. That was a great time in CHRISTian History! But there is great news! We are also living in a great time in CHRISTian History today! While you could have been born at any space of time, GOD saw fit to place you here in this last leg of the race before the soon return of JESUS! What an awesome privilege and responsibility! What does GOD expect of you? HE expects you to let HIM fill you and use you to the fullest capacity and extent. And when you lift up your life for HIM to use, HE causes HIS glory to be seen in a grossly dark world and those all around to see that glory and be drawn to it. CHRIST in you is the hope of glory. The word “prophesy” in this text means to speak or sing under divine inspiration. Don’t close your mouth in this time. Speak, sing, share, do what GOD has given you to do! What HE speaks to you in darkness, speak in the light! What HE speaks in your ear, proclaim on the rooftops. Don’t be silent, idle, unfruitful in a time like this! HE gave you HIS SPIRIT to help you, anoint you, teach and equip you, empower you, and to lead and guide you. You have everything you need. HIS SPIRIT will do HIS job. You must do yours for the Kingdom of GOD. Prayer: Yes, LORD, Thank YOU for speaking to my heart. I receive YOUR word and the help of YOUR HOLY SPIRIT to do what you have called me to do. YOU have chosen me for a great purpose and I choose not to remain quiet or hold back the gift YOU have placed in me. Help me LORD. Propel me forward into YOUR purpose and plan for my life.
