We travelled with a select squad of 15 to tonights inter divisional football blitz in Rockwell. From the get-go the boys got stuck into their opponents and made it very difficult for them to gain any momentum. In goal Jamie Ahearne had a blinder while picking out his team mates with almost every kickout. Out field, our defenders (Julian Kerton, Nathan McKell, Josh Kiely, Jayden Cagney, Rhys Lonergan) showed impressive reading of the play and determination to win the ball back. In midfield we were industrious, launching most of our good attacks while helping out at the back when required (TJ Slattery, Keenan Kerton & Nathan Terry) and up front we were clinical finishing goal chances when they were presented. (Alex Greene, Kyle Grant, Dylan Lonergan, Adam Duggan, Jack Lawlor, Luke Mullins). We came away happy with our three victories from three games vs Commercials, Fr Sheehys and Eire Og Annacarthy.
