We want to say thank everyone for coming out and cheering on the Police Department. It was very close at the end of the contest and we actually had to have a tiebreaker. The tiebreaker consisted of 1 officer and 1 firefighter eating 4 ribs. To determine the winner of the tiebreaker all meat on the rib had to be swallowed and no food in the mouth. We are sad to say that the City of Denton Fire Department ended up winning the contest, just barely. We need to say that the real winner is the United Way of Denton County. We also want to thank Texas Roadhouse - Denton, TX for hosting this event! We look forward to next year!
