We went for a short walk with the dog. We left the neighborhood taking the trail down to the Alamo Creek trail that runs along the creek into the first neighborhood in Dublin. We saw a new trail we never saw before that went up the ridge. So we thought we would take that back thinking it would lead us to the park at the entrance to our neighborhood on Old Ranch. But, as we were walking along the ridge line heading north, the trail took a quick left and dumped us down the other side. Our little quick and easy mile and a half walk turned out to be about 3 miles and a lot more exercise. We got back just as the sun was setting.
