We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center tonight and saw the breath of life show again. Jack was sitting in my lap. As Jack watched one of the bad guys throw a spear up to the good guy, consequently getting the good guy, Jack started crying in a way Ive never seen him cry before. He thought it was real and was not scared (wasnt his scared cry) but was mourning the mans death. I thought Jack was pretending to cry. When I looked at him and saw that it was real my heart totally sank and I started to cry, for my four-year-old son was sensitively mourning the loss. As Laura looked over she told him it was only pretend, but it didnt seem to help until Jack saw the actor as a spirit walking away. Then Jacks tears began to subside as he leaned back and around to whisper in my ear, I think hes going to heaven, dada. Then his tears turned to uncontrollable elation as tons of other spirits came to welcome him. What a humbling experience for me to see that my boy (who I thought only cared about dirt, cars, ramps, and trampolines) is quite a sensitive and caring little boy. I love you, Jack Danger Plouzek.
