We were in Austin today. Had a good lunch, and then I decided to continue the ride down memory lane. So got on Hwy 183 North. WOW. WOW WOW. I remember it being a little 4 lane road. Now it is 8 lanes, elevated, and nothing was the same. Part of it turned into a toll road. Got into Cedar Park. WOW, What happened to that sleepy little town. Went onto Jonestown, where we built a house. Our house still stands, but now they are rocking it. Looks pretty good. Came on across 1431 and into Marble Falls and they have sure widened a major portion of that road. I think Bonnie got tired of hearing me say, WOW I expected some change, but this was a total makeover. And then somethings in Austin, were not changed, which was strange, considering the change around them. Glad I am a country boy and cant wait to get back into the country.
