We were sad to learn that Sophie is again in need of a foster home. Her current foster family does not feel they can spend enough time with her. If you recognize Sophie, its because we posted her back in October. Sophie was taken in by 2nd Time Around Spaniel Rescue. She is young, sweet, and beautiful and has been diagnosed with a congenital kidney disease; shes in the early stages of kidney failure. While Sophie is currently healthy, she has been given 4-10 months to live. What Sophie requires now is a loving home that will give her palliative care. She lost her original family when they divorced and nobody wanted her. She is now losing her foster family, too. Can you help? She may be a bit grumpy with other dogs, so she requires a home where she is the only dog. She is good with cats and is wonderful with people and children. If you have friendly dogs and are willing to do a slow introduction, that may work too. All food and medication covered by the rescue.
