We were so thrilled that our little Annie was better and able to - TopicsExpress

We were so thrilled that our little Annie was better and able to leave the vet Monday for her foster home w her housemate, Teddy. She was happy and playful and even her eyes were doing better on the meds. Well, sadly, she took a turn for the worse yesterday and started to crash. She was very lethargic and didnt want to eat. She started presenting w neurologic symptoms, not there previously. Her white blood cell count was very high and she was rushed to an emergency vet. She is having some more tests today, but it is now thought she might have a liver shunt. This is quite serious and will require an immediate and very expensive surgery. We will know later today, but as her medical bills continue to soar, unexpectedly, we could use all the help we can get! Anyone wanting to donate for this little doll may do so at nycsecondchancerescue.org/donate/ Thank you!!
