We will be hosting a toy drive before the October 9th match against Sporting KC. We are asking fans to bring a new toy valued at $10 or under to drop off as they enter the stadium or at soccer fest. In addition there is a special ticket promotion with portions of ticket price benefiting B.I.G Love. B.I.G. Love Cancer Care Services is a 501c(3) non-profit, volunteer based organization committed to providing basic necessities and personalized care to cancer kids and their families at Hospitals in the Greater Houston area. A key program of this organization is the B.I.G. Love Toy Chest. B.I.G. Love provides toys on a weekly basis for cancer clinic patients serving approximately 600 children and teens each month. After procedures, pokes or radiation, cancer kids at the clinic get to take a trip to the B.I.G. Love toy chests and pick out a special surprise. B.I.G. Love also brings a hospitality and toy cart to the cancer unit each week. The cart includes small toys like match box cars, jewelry, new stuffed animals, puzzles, colors, markers, coloring books, baby toys as well as movies, iTunes cards, pajama’s, socks, house shoes, and toiletries. Admission is free with a new toy $10 or under.
