We will be staying the night for observation and so they can run an MRI/MRV/MRA on him tomorrow. This morning he had a period of dizziness with an inability to speak. He could respond and answer questions but just had a hard time talking and walking. He took a ride on a ambulance to CHKD where they were good and ready for him and responded quickly. His oncologist just happens to be in the hospital this weekend. THANK YOU GOD!!! By the time he got in the back of the ER, the dizziness had settled and he was talking. His CAT scan was clear and the labs are back. His ANC is up from 68 to 600...PRAISE GOD!!! His platelets were low so I know he will be getting another transfusion. Other than that, we will be hanging out on the 8th floor tonight and tomorrow until his testing is complete. We dont have a time yet on the tests. Please pray for good results. Pray that his ANC continues to improve and for protection from any illness/infection. THANK YOU FRIENDS!!! The ER has lousy cell reception but it is nice to know that you all are seeing our posts and praying. We are thankful also to the EMTs who responded quickly to our call and were so very tender to our boy.
