We will miss Rama- Mapunda Tanzanian goalkeeper Ivo Mapunda says that Gor Mahia will miss the services. Salim left the country on Sunday for Qatar, where he is set to join second tier side Al Marhiya. He leaves Gor in the middle of a title race and having been a contributor to their great form, they will certainly miss his guile. Mapunda believes so and argues that Gor Mahia as a side will be poorer without him. He, however, feels that they will still win the Kenyan Premier League title regardless of his move away. “Rama will be missed. He has been an important player for this club. You never want to lose the best players in the team because it means you get weaker and it is the case with him. He is a very good footballer and you struggle to find his type anywhere. I wish him the best out there and hope he does well.” Despite Rama leaving, Mapunda is adamant the KPL title is still there to be won by Gor. “The league title is there to be won and I as well as others in the side are confident we will make it to the end of the season,” he said. “We are still favourites and want to ensure we keep it that way.” © supersport
