We won’t always know the reason for everything that goes on in this world. We can’t even understand how life begins or how our bodies grow. We can’t even fathom how God took nothing and created everything and made it beautiful. However, we can know God has a purpose for everything. Nothing was created without purpose. No one was created without a plan from God. If we find ourselves wandering aimlessly and not doing anything to make a difference, we need to turn to God and ask Him what our purpose is and ask Him for direction. Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (KJV) Dear Lord, we do know You created everything and everyone for a reason. We do know our lives are short but can be meaningful to You if we submit our lives to You. Please forgive us of where we have failed You and create in us a new heart, a new spirit and a new desire to do the plans You have for us. Help us to know our purpose here on earth and strive to work toward that purpose every day. Give us courage and strength to live on purpose for You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
