We would like to thank everyone who stepped up to cover our city during Don Messingschlagers funeral yesterday. It was an honor to have such an outpouring of support from nearly every department across Northern Kentucky. The wiliness to help in our time of need was truly humbling. With that said, we want to thank our brothers and sisters from Newport, Taylor Mill, Walton, Burlington, Hebron, Kenton and the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Airport. Several members from these departments staffed our units and also brought equipment to make emergency responses while we could pay our respects to Donnie. Covington, Erlanger, Florence, Piner, and Ryland also offered mutual aid assistance. We also would like to thank the fire districts and cities for allowing their staff and equipment to be used and to all the many departments that offered to help. This is truly what brotherhood and sisterhood is all about!
