We would like to wish a blessed feast day to our Russian Orthodox Brothers and Sisters, whom hold in special commemoration today St John Kronstadt. Here is a short biography of this amazing man: St John of Kronstadt (1908 AD), one of the most well known saints of recent history, possessed an evangelical fervor, and, above all, was flesh of the flesh of the Orthodox tradition and of the faith and life of the Orthodox Church.St John was an expressive and impressive preacher, a promoter of frequent communion, a man who moved the hearts of hardened sinners to repentance, a man with a great depth of love, and a spiritual healer. Huge crowds flocked to him from all parts of Orthodox Russia to hear him and to be healed by him (in body and soul). He has written many things on many spiritual topics and has become one of the most loved and studied people, of the modern Orthodox world. Living during the period, where the seeds of communism were planted in Russia, St John was an example to all, an internal martyr and a miracle worker among his people. May he intercede and pray for all of us this evening.
