We wrapped up the Lou Shields Weekend yesterday with a picnic/jam session that drew a tremendous crowd who came out to celebrate with the artist and socialize with each other. We thank all of you who turned out yesterday and the other two days as well. Many people had a chance to view the new exhibit in Lous Soul Yard series and they learned first-hand the influences, inspiration and energy that he has poured into this heart-felt theme over the past fifteen years. We particularly thank all of you who claimed a piece of Lou Shields art for yourself and we know you will come to enjoy it even more with the passing of time. The exhibit will remain installed at Paul Henrys Art Gallery until the first week of November. If you didnt have a chance to stop by this past weekend we hope you will take time to examine this outstanding collection during regular gallery hours. We are open Monday through Saturday, 10AM til 5:30PM and Sunday, Noon til 5PM. For an appointment outside gallery hours please call 219-678-5015.
