Weakness of Jupiter in horoscope, causes delay and hurdles in every expansion related event in life because Jupiter is the planet of expansion, Karka for Marriage, Karka for Children, Karka of Increment in salary and wealth. Suppose you are going to be married , that means your are going to be 2 from 1, that means expansion in family, So Jupiter is karka planet for this, or take example of child birth, that means you are going to extend your family so Jupiter will play major role here too. Same thing is applied in terms of Education and other prospects of life. Apart from Jupiter we need to see related houses and their lords also to make a final decision. Weakness does not always mean state of debilitation, a planet can be considered weak if placed in malefic houses like 8th and 12th , 6th or in Star of a malefic planet who has lordship of 6th,8th,12th, weak shadbal , influence of malefic on Jupiter etc. A debilitated Jupiter in 2nd house having lordship of Good houses can give immense wealth like we can see in chart of Sachin Tendulkar. I have seen many cases that Jupiter in 8th gives always delay n hurdles in marriage and children. For health prospects, Jupiter gives expansion in fat in our body.
